WAXING GIBBOUS- Moonlight Momentum: Trusting and Refining What's not yet Visible

The waxing gibbous moon is bright, swelling, but not quite full.  It’s the lunar phase of almost- the moment when your intentions are taking shape but haven’t yet revealed their final form.  In this in-between phase, there is a reminder that becoming is a process, not a single moment of arrival.

If the first quarter moon is about pushing through resistance, the waxing gibbous is about fine tuning.  It’s the phase where you adjust, polish, and realign.  Your intentions have sprouted; now they need shaping.  The phase encourages patience and momentum building.  It’s the cosmic equivalent of stepping back from a painting, noticing what needs a touch more color, and returning with intention.

Why this Phase feels like “Almost There” Energy

The waxing gibbous can stir a strange mix of excitement and impatience.  You can sense progress, you can feel the shift, but the outcome isn’t fully visible yet.  This is where many people start to doubt themselves;

“Is this working?”

“Should I change direction?”

“Why isn’t it happening faster?”

The truth is, progress often becomes real long before it becomes visible.  This moon phase invites you to trust the process, even when you can’t see the full picture yet.

Check-In for the Waxing Gibbous

Consider these subtle shifts that will make your intention more aligned

What’s working well?

What needs a small adjustment?

What can I refine rather than restart?

Where can I soften my expectations and strengthen my commitment?

Ritual for March:

1.     Review your intention.

Look back at what you planted during the new moon.  What has grown?  What has changed?

2.      Identify one area to refine.

Maybe it’s your schedule, maybe it’s your mindset, or maybe it’s the way you’re approaching your goal.  Choose one thing, not everything.

3.       Make a gentle adjustment.

This could be:

      a.    Rewriting your intention with more clarity.

b.       Setting a boundary

b.       Tweaking you’re routine

d.       Asking for support

e.       Releasing perfectionism

Small refinements create big shifts over time.

4.       Affirm the process.

 Try something like,

“I trust what’s unfolding”

“I refine with clarity and ease”

“I honor the progress I can’t yet see.”

Let the words settle into your body.

The waxing gibbous is the final stretch.  It’s a reminder that the journey is just as sacred as the destination.  Your intention is gathering strength, and It’s only a moment before culmination.

Remember, becoming happens in layers.

You don’t have to be finished to be proud of yourself!

You don’t have to see the whole path to keep walking.

You don’t have to rush what is ripening.

The moon is glowing with the beauty of Almost, and so are you!
